How could signing move beyond a mark on a document toward stronger, reusable evidence of who someone is and what they are authorised to do?

This was an emerging product-line pilot, so the most useful public version should focus on the framing, assumptions, evidence and unresolved questions - not present exploration as a finished commercial outcome.
